What a wonderfully unique restaurant. I suggest to share. It's a little pricey, but we enjoyed our experience overall. The greens and bean dish was AWESOME!!!

They serve you a fresh cucumber salad with a tasty dressing, bread and pasta e fagioli (beans and greens) as a part of your meal- family style. It is all delicious! My Cajun-crusted grouper and shrimp was excellent.

Mushroom risotto is very good. We didn't and had to wait about 30 minutes starring at the pictures on the wall. Your staff this evening did not handle this situation very well. I had the lasagna and my hubby had the pork chops. You most likely lost 13 or more customers. Total bill was $58 before tip.

If there are any active/retired military reading this, and receive a customary discount for defending our country and freedom from other businesses, please consider another establishment.

Our waiter was Michael and he took care of us in a private setting outside. What a wonderfully unique restaurant. Pappardelle Ragu di Carne ($26.95) Veal, wild mushrooms,rucola, and green peppercorn sauce was very good but it was made with clearly sub optimal dry noodles. Be prepared If you go to eat a ton of food! Beware Umberto's is very crowded at peak dinner hours.

This was the first restaurant I have been too since I moved here a year ago that did not honor a military discount or first responder discount. Especially if you don't want leftovers. All the prices we list are in Canadian dollars. The bread was "melt-in-your-mouth" fantastic. We were able to order the past dishes in appetizer portions & then share the beef tenderloin. The only thing I would have added was mozzarella cheese and balsamic vinaigrette.
